Visit here at least once a year. Love the pool, lazy river and free breakfast. Think rooms could be a little cleaner though.

One star you may ask?

First, let me start with the positives.

The location was right on the trolly stop at the end of the main street.

The room was clean and the shower had great pressure.

The pool was heated and well maintained.

The fire pits were nice.

They offered free coffee in the AM and lemonade from 4-7PM.

Now for the negatives.

This entire hotel does not have a single safe. No room safes and not even one behind the check-in desk.

The entire hotel has one (yes, one microwave oven) for the entire hotel. If you wish to reheat dinner, you must take your entrée to the lobby in the room behind the front desk.

The bathroom light was OUTSIDE the bathroom.

The coffee maker in the room was for a single serving only. You would have to keep refilling and brewing coffee separately for everyone in your party.

Now this is the deal breaker for me.

I had to get my room card rekeyed OVER 30 TIMES! They kept blaming me that the key was not working. They said that it was my fault because I was keeping the card by my cell phone or going into shops. Who goes to Gatlinburg and doesn’t plan on going into shops? I thought that I was losing my mind until I overheard other guests complaining that their room cards didn’t work either. This was such a PAIN!!!!

I am sticking with my one star rating.

Bearskin no safe no one micro in lobby. No tissues by bed. Re keyed over 30 times. Kept blaming me. No carts in lobby. Fire pits and pool nice. Good location on trolly line. Bathroom light outside room. On cup coffee maker. No room or hotel safe.
