Geneseo Middle School offers a variety of educational and cocurricular programs to more than 400 students in grades six through eight. Located in Geneseo, Ill., the school offers various programs, including English, arts, science, social studies, mathematics and physical education. It also provides technology, guidance, media studies, vocal music and special education programs. Middle School additionally provides band, family and consumer science, instrumental music, and programs for the hearing impaired. The school offers a variety of sports activities, such as basketball, volleyball and track and field activities. It school has a parent-teacher association that focuses on increasing awareness and participation in curriculum and policy development, by enhancing communication between home and school.
