I have shopped at this grocery since it opened. Even though it is more expensive, it is convenient. I have given literally hundreds of checks there with no problem, and visit the store 2 to 3 times per week. I had a very unfortunate health emergency and was in the hospital for an extended stay. Someone neglected to deposit my pay check, and 2 checks were returned. THEY DID NOT GIVE ME THE COURTESY OF A PHONE CALL and sent it to the county attorney, costing me an extra $200.00. Furthermore, they refuse to take my check now, and managers, Sherry and ESPECIALLY MIKE were very RUDE even though I had receipts from the county attorney that they had been paid IMMEDIATELY after I returned from the hospital. BEWARE: this is a VERY small town. We all know each other; many are related. I already have 15 regular customers that promised me they would drive to Paducah rather than shop at Food Giant. "UNLESS YOU'VE MADE NO MISTAKES IN YOUR LIFE, BE CAREFUL OF STONES THAT YOU THROW." It's coming back to you, Mike.
