Chips and salsa

We have had a nice experience here every time our family has dined here. Our kids love the chips and salsa, and we are happy that they finally have the cheese dip. We only wish they offered some crayons and paper for the kids to play with while we wait for the food to come.

All in all good service, very personable and the food keeps us coming back for more.

Great Service

My wife and I stumbled upon Sergio's Cantina this past summer and have been coming back for more ever since then. My wife recently became pregnant and we have had to adjust our regular date nights on Thursday's for the half price margarita's. When do come now our server always makes my wife feel extra special by making her a non-alcohol margarita. Our past three visits we have had Kristin as our server and she puts my wife's drink in one of those huge glasses with a salted rim and a limeaide put in it and my wife enjoys every bit of it. What makes the margarita's stand out from other Mexican Restaurant's in town is that they hand squeeze the limes at this place. As a regular at this restaurant I enjoy the classic house margarita's here and if you are looking for a great appetizer to share- try the queso fundido. It's not the most healthiest choice but it taste GREAT!!! If you haven't been to this restaurant yet- go on a Tuesday or Thursday to take advantage of the half price rita deals. My wife enjoys the new lite menu too, especially the shrimp pico.

Great Margarita Specials!

I love coming to Sergio's Cantina on Tues and Thursday nights to take advantage of the 1/2 price Margarita's. I love the frozen fruit flavored margarita's the most, especially the mango flavored one. My friends and I love to order the queso dip to snack on with the freshly made chips and salsa that are so good! It's a great atmosphere and I love the patio in the summer time too. Another thing that I love is the guacamole as well, it's made fresh to the order and the chunks of advocado's that you can see make the guacamole taste so yummy :)

Churros make a great way to end the night with a delicious treat too!

Above Review

Sergio's Cantina is a family restaurant, that generates a friendly, warm atmosphere- not one that the above reviewer speaks of. This restaurant offers a wide selection of "Authentic" dishes that will have you coming back for more. The difference between Sergio's Cantina and other Mexican restaurants around town is the quality in all the food that is prepared and served to each customer. Sergio's is always adding new items to the menu to keep the restuarant fresh and new. Sergio himself is at the restaurant all the time, and you'll even see him cooking some of his signature dishes from time to time- for this is his restaurant where he puts his heart into it. So many customer's come in because of the customer service and appreciation of everyone's business that Sergio's Cantina demonstrates. There are many regulars that keep coming back and love that servers and bartenders and Sergio himself knows the familiar faces and even remember what some customer's favorite orders are and that my friend is what true customer service is. I find the above review extremely hurtful and very off as well on what Sergio's Cantina is.

Every week we have half price margarita's featuring our hand-squeezed lime flavored house margaritas and frozen fruit which fill the place up with happy drinkers to take advantage of this great drink special every Tuesday and Thursday. The main difference between Sergio's Cantina and other neighboring restaurant's is that they are always striving to the raise the bar in quality in food, and most importantly customer satisfaction. Sergio's Cantina is going on it's second year of being open in the heart of downtown Geneva and is planning on being open for many more years serving the families in Geneva a taste of what authentic-mexican truly food is.

Go here if you want your stuff...

Go here if you want your stuff stolen out of your purse and then pawned to Sergio himself. The food sucks and you're better off going to Tia Maria's for authentic food that is hot and reasonably priced
