I went here once before to get my nails done a little over a year ago with a friend and loved my nails, they took there time and made them look very nice. I work for ARC and have a participant that loves having her nails painted, so I decided to take her out and get her a nice manicure. I decided to go to Chausie's seeing how I loved my nails the last time I went. That was a MISTAKE! They told us it would be an hour wait, so we decided to wait and come back. A woman started on my her nails and at first is was going well, cutting her cuticles and filing her nails. Than she went to get the Hot towel and only cleaned her nails with it. She skipped the whole point of a manicure! She didn't lotion or massage her hands at all!! She didn't even let the hot towel sit on her hands. She moved on to painting her nails, and rushed. they looked like crud afterwards! and they chipped not even two hours later! I was strongly disappointed! That will be the LAST time I ever go there.

Things do change! Chausie's is under new management and ownership as of January 2013. Read the update comment, Scott corrected a situation and the patron was happy. The negative comments were in 2012, so give Scott the opportunity to demonstrait his talent. Sometime change is good. Jim. ? Sour grapes above! In a college community like Geneva, NY it has me doubtful of Tinamarie's twelve word rhetoric, unless of course if Tinamarie's is a grade school student. Open forums like this site allows all. My point, Scott (the owner and manager) did have an employee leave Chausie's who refused to follow the new manager. "Be that as it may". Out with the old - In with the new.

Had a fake nails put on was very unhappy will not return

I called and made an appointment for a full set for Saturday at 1130, was in the chair at 1145. Left at 2pm. During the full set, 4 of the nails are straight... the rest are CLEARLY crooked. The acrilic he put on was think and eneven, to the point that the left side of each nail was built up I had to ask him to even them out. The majority of them were filled adding to the crooked. There is acrilic under 7 of my nails, that cannot be filled out with a regular file. Further more I was cut four times with the file and twice with the sander machine. The person doing it was not new, I asked. Due to not haveing time I asked him to fix them the best he could, They were polished and I was burnt by the acetone in all the cuts I had, when he had to fix the polish. The service was awful in response to my complaint. I called on Sunday and Monday to speak to a manager, neither time was given a call back. Today got through to someone who after some argument stated he was willing to stay past 7 to fix my nail. I will update.



They get one star in my book... because they are at least willing to fix the problem.



UPDATE: I got in touch with Scott at the Salon he was willing to stay late and fix the problem. I arrived and he was quick, professional and friendly. They will get business again. I am appreciative of the willingness to fix it and he did a GREAT job!

Worst nail salon ever!!! Bad attitudes

In their naive language all the time. Stay away!!!

Had an awful experience both times I've gone here. The first time was for a full set acrylic the guy who did them was rude and had zero people skills and kept telling me to relax when I wasn't tense at all and the following day my nails were already coming off after doing absolutely NOTHING!!!!!!! Second time was to get my eyebrows waxed and the lady was very rude kept complaining while doing the whole procedure and told me I needed to get my lip waxed. Overall this place is terrible and never ever giving them my service or money again!!!

I was actually running errands all day and wanted a little me time.. I been here once before this time I was upset with my visit was not greeted kindly then when they did my feet I still had the calluses on by heels after I asked if they could scrub them so that they are smoother and even said I would pay more if extra charge after I dried my toes no one even acknowledge to check on me so overall won't be returning.

This place has said to be the be the place to go to for nails but I was not impressed at all I've been there 3 times once for a medi that didn't even last a day! It chiped off within hours. The guy who did them came off pretty rude when I had visted once again a few months later for a fill I recived the same guy I waited about 30 mins but they were very busy and I understood....but the fill job sucked! Just yesterday I went there with a friend to get a new set and luckly the guy I had previous times was not there my nails were done my chaucie herself they look a lot better but on the board with the prices it said $35 for a white tip set and she did not do anything special when she was finished she asked for $40! Ofcourse I was gonna give her a tip but she took it into her own hands! This is the last time I visit her salon. They are way to over priced and rude.

I was not impressed with this salon. I went there and waited in the pedi chair for 45 min till they finaly came over to me. Then the lady kept getting up and doing other things around the salon. I was there for 2 hours for a pedicure and my feet are not that terrible.

came in for fill and pedi got cut around the cuticles polish was on my skin and she burned me with the drill then a guy who didn't even understand English rushed on the whole thing! The workers were arguing at each other in their language by their face expression like we can't tell and Chelsea I think that's her name seem just overall miserable if you don't like ur job, DON'T SERVE US PERIOD! it will go downhill for the business.

All I have to say is check their licenses first because now I regret it with my nail looking bad and ended up paying for them
