Community Ink, Inc was established in 1993, out of a family-run printing business. The original printing business, Jones/Jones Associates, had been operating since 1979. The president, Harry Jones, began Community Ink by offering a common interest development ( CID ) in Northern California, a way to communicate at a quality level with its members, while virtually erasing the "newsletter" line item from the homeowners' association budget.
