The owner is expert at her craft and so pleasant to work with. I have gone to KAD Designs for 4 years and everything they have done for me has been just right. The work is always quality and the price is very reasonable. I appreciate the expertise they offer that would make a garment look better on me. During really busy peak times, like prom, the turn around time is a little longer than I would like but the work has always been good.

I brought in a dress to wear for an event that was too small through the hips, and asked if they could let it out. I was told that it could be done.



I came back a week later to pick it up, tried it on, and immediately discovered that it was still tight through the hips. I was told that the dress had "skinny seams," and that next time I was at a store, I should examine the seams to see if there is enough material to let a dress out. To which I replied, "I AM NOT A TAILOR. YOU ARE. IT'S NOT MY JOB TO INSPECT SEAMS. THAT'S WHY I BROUGHT THIS DRESS TO YOU." And not for nothing, it's not my goal to use a tailor...I actually try to find my real size when in a retail store. I loved the dress...it was too small...so I brought it to a tailor.



I asked, "If there wasn't enough material, why not give me a call? "She simply smiled.



I paid full price. No discount was offered. No attempt was made to make it right. Disgusted.



Do yourself a favor and do not use this tailor.

I absolutely love this place. Pleasantly surprised with the professional workmanship and customer service. Great atmosphere and a very nice staff.
