I was going to write a very negative review; but I will only say that the negative reviews I read are right on target. I couldn't say it better! If you're smart, you'll stay as far away from the nail technician as possible! Awful customer relations!! If I could give NO STAR, I would.

Nail Salon at Caviar D

The phone number on this Groupon is the nail tech's cell phone, and it's extremely difficult to get a return call. In fact, at the appointment that I did manage to get (three weeks after I called), her cell phone kept ringing. Without answering the phone, Fasha kept making fun of the callers by shaking her head and going on about how "people just want instant gratification - they just don't know how to wait." She told me twice that she would never do another Groupon again; "it's just too much stress."

At the appt I actually did wait, because she was not ready when I arrived.  Apparently I violated her space by walking back to the area where the nail table was: she told me I should walk back to the front and she'd "let me know when I could come back." I hadn't known what to do, because no one so much as said hello when I walked into the salon.

As I picked out a color, she told me she needed me to hurry because she was already late and didn't want to get more behind. So I sat down, and guess what?  She's not even good at doing nails. She never trimmed them to make them all the same length, and the polish did not go on smoothly. At the end of one coat, I commented on this, and she sighed and said in a slow, rude voice, "I'm not done." OK. Yes, I do know that two coats are normal, but I wasn't feeling confident or relaxed by this point. So the second coat went on. Still gloppy and getting thick, not to mention a few bubbles in the polish. I asked her if she thought it would be OK to do a third coat or did she think that would make it too thick to dry or something. She sighed again and said, "Unless you know something I don't know." How rude are you, Fasha?

At this point, I was just thinking about the second Groupon that I had already bought - although I still had not received a return phone call regarding the appt, even after calling three times and texting twice. I asked if I could just get a refund for the second one. She said sure and carried on.

The final straw was when she did not apply nail polish all the way to the bottom of my left thumb nail. Yes, after three coats, you could still see bare nail. I asked her if she could please fill in that area. She told me I was telling her how to do her job, that I was in her space, and that she was not going to finish. She literally walked to the front door of the salon and held the door open for me; she was kicking me out. It was rude, it was insane, and it took me by surprise. I asked to talk to the manager, and Fasha informed me that she is her own manager.  This all occured in front of one of the hair stylists and her client. Embarrassing.

Bottom line, Fasha is rude, doesn't return phone calls, and does a lousy job with nails.

I have already called Groupon and the woman I spoke with was very nice and refunded both my Groupons. Thank you, Groupon.

If I told my best friend about this plack, I would say STAY AWAY. RUN FOR THE HILLS!!

I work in commerical real estate so I have met thousands of business owners. I can honestly say this ranks in the top 10 of most unprofessional people I have met.

My experience: I made an appointment six weeks ago for a wedding that I was in. I called the Monday before my appointment to make sure that my appointment was early enough to make it to a luncheon I had at noon. I was reassured I had enough time. The morning of the appointment the manicurist called to say that she was running a little bit late. I was miffed but appreciated the phone call. I waited at the unopened salon for 30 minutes past my appointment and still no one showed or called. I called the manicurist and she told me she was "around the corner." This proved to be a lie, as she did not show up in the next 15 minutes I waited. At that point I had to leave. She never apologized for her rudeness or unprofessionalism.

I left there and went to Lyna's nails on Kirby and was in and out with a great set of toes and hands in an hour.

Not that bad

I bought the groupon for Caviar and was a little wary after reading these negative reviews. I had Fasha give me a pedicure and shellac manicure. Fasha was nice and we had a lot to talk about. She did talk and text on her phone, which I thought was odd. But the salon is very clean and my nails look good. Basically, this is nicer than your average nail salon, but it's not as good as Goulds. But with the coupon, I thought it was a good deal.

This review is for the Hands and Feet nail salon at Caviar. I agree with the previous review. Fasha was very rude. I had called her to make an apt and left a message. I called back after getting her message and she said, "You obviously didn't listen to my message." OK.... After arriving to my appointment on time she was 20 mins late to take me back. She then proceeded to text and talk on her phone the entire time. Even stopping the manicure to text and talk. She made it clear, talking to her friends, that she had somewhere to go and was going to get through my apt as soon as she could. I felt uncomfortable and like she was doing me a favor. Every manicure and pedicure I have ever had they have given me a little hand massage or rubbed lotion on. This was just the polish on the hands. It was the worst manicure and pedicure I have ever had. If I had, had a good experience I would have gone back. Now I would not even consider it.

I want to start by saying I have never left a review on any website before. I had such a bad experience at this salon that I can't help but let you know what you're getting into. This salon has the worst customer service I have ever seen. The nail care specialist, Fasha, is the rudest person I have ever spoken to. I would never refer this salon (for nails -- I do not know how good the stylist are) to anyone I know!!
