I have sent both of my children to Pitner Driving School. My son has a hardship license, and started driving at 15. On the way to school in the rain, his rear tires started hydroplaning and he lost control. When I arrived at the scene, he said "Mom, I credit Pitner Driving School for this. They taught me what to do when you lose control of your vehicle and I did exactly what they said to do.". He took out a mailbox and a trashcan, but he did not crash into oncoming traffic or seriously damage his car. Highly recommend Pitner!!

If you want to LEARN DRIVING, ...

If you want to LEARN DRIVING, YOU HAVE TO BE AT THIS PLACE

I have been all along the US East Coast starting from Columbus, Ohio to Greenville, SC, Fort Lauderdale, FL, Ossining, NY... Some give Driving Lessons for making you clear the Driving Test, Some for Money.. I have been through all that

Now, I am in Memphis, TN. I came to know the best driving school is PITNER driving school.. I took the Behing the Wheel Driving Class from Keith.. Best Instructor I have seen by far in the past 3 years.. He is the BEST... I would remember the way he made me learn being the wheel.. the left turns .. right turns ahead on road...AMAZING TUTOR

I cleared my Driving Test with no Penalties.. Good Knowledge.. Good Driving Skills..Pays attention.. Traffic Checks.. Proper Speed.. Proper Control(Steering)..Signal as needed..Traffic Checks..Proper Lane Usage.Proper Following Distance..Proper Speed

Guys, I did not score a single Error and all the Credit goes to PITNER DRIVING SCHOOL

You know, I would be looking forward to more classes as I require perfection and I am going again to Keith for some more classes in the near future..I have my Driving License.. Still when you meet a Perfect Master... Money Time are put in to the Complete Use...I wish there would be Pitner Driving Schools all over USA and The World and Instructors like Keith Everywhere so everyone would be Perfect!!!!

I am very glad I enrolled for driving classes with Pitner Driving School

I just though I should mention here the excellent experience I had on enrolling for driving classes with Pitner Driving school. I am new to Memphis and had made phone calls to enroll for the driving classes to many other driving schools, with Pitner school I felt they were the most professional to understand my requirements and explain me the classes and time available for the driving classes. The best part was my driving instructor Keith, he was the most patient ,reasonable and knowledgable person I have met in a long time. He expalined me all the driving rules and signs and gave me good driving tips from his vast exeprience. I had driving classes for more than 2 hours each day for 3 days and I am fully happy that I have got the best I could have got for my money. Thanks a lot Pitner Driving School !!

Buyer Be Happy!

I do not understand what mommia1971 is talking about! I have put two kids through Pitner Driving school and could not be more happy with the results! She complained about the amount of driving time? Let me tell you, I have had friends put there kids through other driving schools that used backseat observation and 'video games' as substitutes. They ended up paying more money and getting less behind the wheel instruction! I know that my kids received six hours of individual behind the wheel instruction from a licensed professional. I'm sure that her daughter did too! As for the "95% of the time listening to speakers and watching films" I have to say that is an exaggeration. My kids spent 30 hours in the classroom and 6 hours driving. I'm glad that my kids were in the classroom for 30 hours! I want them to learn about things like: the rules of the road; drunk driving laws; how to handle tailgaters; etc.... I want them to watch films like the 'Red Asphalt' that I saw as a kid. I would highly recommend that you send your kids to Pitner! I've already enrolled my 15 yr. old daughter for this spring!

buyer beware

I signed my daughter up for driving school, July 2010. She had a two week course. 95% of the time the kids watched films and listened to speakers. There were 72 kids enrolled and 4 cars on hand, She was only taken out to drive 3 times the whole two weeks. Wait a minute! I thought this was a driving instruction school, where there would be alot of driving. Can you say " GREEDY"! I spent $380 for her to watch movies and listen to speakers. A WASTE OF MONEY!
