I am writing you about our visit to your restaurant 3/3/2013.

We arrived at your restaurant at about 5;15 and there was a wait which we expected.

We had a party of 6 and were taken to a table at about 6;10 which was fine to this point.

We were seated at the table for 10 minutes before a young man came and informed us he would be our waiter, He said he was sorry for the delay because he had a very large group he was taking care of. He took our drink order and left the area.

He never returned!!!!!!!!!!

We sat at the table for 30-40 minutes before one of the young ladies waiting on another table agreed to take our drink order again. At that time she did take an order for the two young children we had with us because they were getting hungry and very tired.

We finally were able to place an order, but again we waited a long time for any food or drink to come, my wife finally had to take the very tired kids home to their parents before our food came.

I ordered the walleye and when it finally came it was COLD!!!!!!! We did not get any drink refills also.

We had to wait a few minutes for my wife to get back to finish our meals.

I have been to your Cracker Barrel restaurant at other times, and the service and food was very good.

However as good as the other visits have been this was VERY BAD !!

The young ladies that tried to help us were great, but this was not there table, that waiter we started with was walking around and talking with several other tables but NEVER came back to us.

We did not get out of your restaurant till 8:45

My daughter and her family live in Germantown and we come there a lot, but it will be a while before we return to a restaurant with service like this.

I have been to the Cracker Barrel several times. Their pancakes are delicious! However I have not been there or tried anything else on the menu (because the pancakes are so good) until a few days ago.



I had the roast beef dinner option and it was amazing. Very tender, the steak fries are fantastic, mashed potatos a little too spicy for me but very good. Great service.



The ambiance gives an up north vibe which is pleasant on occasion.



Downsides...the restaurant is always very loud I am not sure why. Also, the cornbread muffins were not very good. Everything else was great and we love checking out the little store they have. :)
