Be VERY careful when making a purchase at this location. In fact, I'd even think twice before buying anything of substance from this location unless you can take it with you THAT DAY. I spent a hefty amount of time in this store on Black Friday and purchased one large item that I could not fit in my car. I paid in full and gave the check-out clerk all of my information and informed him that I would be back to pick it up either Sunday night or Monday night, when I was able to procure a truck to transport my large purchase. When I returned Monday night with an appropriate vehicle, I was told that my item was not in the store and that I could either take the floor model, or wait until Wednesday for a new shipment to arrive. (Not sure about you but I don’t get gas for free so this proved to be excessively frustrating.) Not only is this extremely inconvenient, but the way the situation was handled by the “assistant store manager” left much to be desired. It seems as though Howard was unable to even look me in the face to tell me that my item had been given away to another customer. He felt the need to send another associate to relay the message. After some back and forth between myself, the associate and Howard, I was finally told that there was nothing he could do but offer me the floor model or offer to hold another item for me when the new shipment arrived. Doesn’t really sound to me like Howard has any say-so at this store at all. Store manager Mike will be getting a phone call bright and early Tuesday morning and I will be voicing my distaste for his employees and their slap-you-in-the-face incompetencies. Let’s see if Sears manages to actually hold my item for me when the new shipment arrives. My hopes are not high at this point.

i have purchased a snow blower,lawn mower sump pump from sears hardware. they have a staff that knows there stuff and are very helpful. sears stands behind there stuff. i always purchase when on sale.
