Overall, I was quite disappointed with the services performed on my bike. Someone had stolen and wrecked my Treck 2120, causing damage to the handlebars and seat. When I took the bike in, the manager estimated $70 dollars in repairs--$40 for new handlebars, $20 for a seat, and $10 in labor. When I picked the bike up, the ticket stated $105--$40 for handlebars, $20 for a seat, $20 for new tape, and $25 in labor. Considering I had asked to keep the repairs to a minimum (I'm a college student), using more expensive tape and more than doubling the labor would have gone over smoother if they had made a simple phone call to inform me (they did end up knocking $10 off in labor, but of course I also purchased a bike rack at the time of pickup). Furthermore, I had asked for them to re-affix my speedometer--a simple request that took 10 seconds after I asked again once I picked up the bike, but again, a simple notation ensuring completion upon pickup would have been greatly appreciated. The service they performed (minus the speedometer) and the turnaround time were good, but I feel the store lacked communication between management and the actual laborers. If you're looking for quality work at a fast rate, this is the place for you. The worker who performed the service for my bike was even very nice in the recovery process when I picked it up. However, don't expect too much in terms of communication. After listing my grievances with the manager, he chalked my concerns up to a lack of business experience and inadequate appreciation for the turnaround time.

I posted this review on Google several months ago. I should note that almost immediately after receiving my bike I had to return to the shop to have the taping redone. The initial work must have been sloppy, because the tape started falling off almost immediately. Unfortunately, the second fix didn't last too much longer. I don't chalk the tape-failure up to inexperienced servicing so much as a poor choice in product. For whatever reason, the worker decided to use an incredibly soft tape on my bike, and so even a little wear and tear ate through it. Given the requests I had made when dropping my bike off, I wish the worker would have used more discretion in choosing a product.
