This is a one-man operation, and the owner, Jason Young, is very nice. I needed the carpets cleaned in a rental house that I had recently vacated. His price, which was $320 with tax, was comparable to some other companies I had called. (2 bedrooms, living room, dining room, 2 hallways, and 1 flight of stairs.)

There was a stain in the living room carpet, which he was unable to remove, but I had a feeling it wouldn't come out, and I'm sure he tried his best.

I think he did a decent job on the carpets, overall. BUT...I didn't realize that the carpet cleaner he used would have such a STRONG PERFUME SMELL to it, which seriously bothered me. I'm so glad I no longer live there because I would be losing my mind if I had to smell that strong perfume smell all the time. One week later--I can still smell the carpet cleaner perfume smell in the air when I enter the rental house.

If you're NOT sensitive to smells, then this won't be a problem for you. But if you have bad allergies and/or you are hypersensitive to smells, like me, then you will NOT want this carpet cleaning product used in your home. I imagine it will dissipate over time, but I'm SO GLAD that I no longer live there because I would be miserable.

Also, a couple day after having the carpets cleaned, I decided to vacuum again, and I was surprised at how much stuff I could hear getting sucked into the vacuum! It just struck me as odd because if his carpet cleaning machine had done such a great job of suctioning out all the dirt, I expected not to hear anything at all. But instead, I was hearing a lot of stuff getting sucked up. So I had to wonder if there was some type of residue left behind....or if his machine hadn't gotten all the dirt out after all.

At any rate, the owner was extremely nice and friendly, and he did an OK job, but I was underwhelmed with the results, and I personally would not hire him again, mainly because of the strong perfume smell from the carpet cleaning product he used.
