A native of the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Diane Combs was raised in Seattle, WA. For more than 20 years she has been a resident of Gig Harbor and enjoys having her practice closer to home. Since 1983, she has practiced in Tacoma and in 2001, she moved her practice to Gig Harbor. She welcomes patients ages 18 years and older.

    Serving in the U. S. Army Medical Corps from 1980 to 1983, Dr. Combs dedicated a year to an Infectious Disease Fellowship at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antoinio, Texas. She then went to Fort Dix, New Jersey, to practice Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease, leaving with the rank of Major. Board Certified in Internal Medicine in 1983 and Family Practice in 1979, Dr. combs completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Emanuel Hospital in Portland, Oregon. She completed her Residency in Family Practice at Moutainside Hospital in Montclair, New Jersey in 1979. Her Internal Medicine Internship was completed in 1977 at the New Jersey College of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark, New Jersey.
