Hands down the best shop in the Harbor to keep your vehicle in tip top shape!

I took my Ford Explorer to Precision Tune, on 4802 Point Fosdick Dr NW, in Gig Harbor, WA, on January 16th, 2014, after experiencing a loud and persistent noise coming from my engine. I have to commute a long way in order to get to work, and I was extremely concerned about getting there safely. When I approached the counter, the employees, Sarah and Cassie, and the owners, Aziz and Nasreen, greeted me with smiles and were so professional, friendly, and nice. They completely understood that I was concerned about the cost, and an about getting my car back as soon as possible.



They obtained all of my information and informed me that they would give me a call when they knew what was making the noise. They gave me an accurate cost approximation that was extremely fair, and I appreciated the fact that they understood my position. Within 30 minutes, I received a phone call from Justin, who was repairing my car, stating what was wrong with my car, and I was provided with the cost of the labor and the parts, which they informed me they had in stock. After approximately 1 hour, I received another call from Precision Tune and was told that my car repair had been completed, and my car was ready!



My entire family has been going to Precision Tune, on Pt. Fosdick Dr in Gig Harbor, for over 25 years, and the owners and the staff have become more like family and friends to us than just another auto repair shop. They have provided all of us with car loaners if we needed them, lube and oils, diagnostic testing, brakes, exhaust repairs, and everything in between, and have always gone out of their way to assist us in any manner possible. Their waiting area is consistently clean, and they offer coffee while you're waiting. The Precision Tune in Gig Harbor is the only place my family and I trust to take our vehicles to because they are fair, dependable, and they have integrity and ethics, which now days is rare and difficult to find. They are committed to their customers and when I leave there after a repair or lube and oil, I know my car is safe to drive and I no longer need to worry. Thank you Precision Tune in Gig Harbor!

Be very careful asking any questions! I will not go back to this Precision Tune in Gig Harbor! The woman (owner) behind the counter was extremely argumentive and just downright nasty to me when I had questions about the cost of the additional work they wanted to do for my car plus the oil change I brought my vehicle in for in the first place. The outright hostility, overall poor customer service and the embaraasment as the woman continuously harangued me in front of other customers was enough. Add the fact of the unflattering gestures she made at me as as I left, was just unbelievable! Everyone has a bad day, but I have never been treated that way by a business in my entire life (50+ years). Just a terrible, terrible experience and I will never, ever go back to that business again!

Lousy and dishonest.

The air filter in question is in the glove box. A toddler could change it!There is more but I will leave it at that.
