We have been to tickles 5 or so times in the past year. I always fet same day appts

This is NOT a "walk-ins welcome" salon as they advertise. Both my son and I were very excited for him to get his hair cut at this salon. However, when we got there we were greeted by a snotty receptionist who immediately asked if we had an appointment. When I told her "no" she informed me they could "fit me in" in 3 hours! Are you serious?? I can understand a 30 minute wait maybe even an hour... but 3 hours?! I also completely understand that some salons are by appointment only and I respect that. I would never dream of walking in if it's an "appointment only" salon. But, if you're going to advertise on your website and on signs outside your salon "walk-ins welcome" you should be welcoming to walk-in business! Please also note that I came in on a Wednesday afternoon... not a busy weekend or peak hour so I'm completely baffled by their lack of customer service and don't believe I will ever try to go back.
