Jesus was helpful over the phone and in person. I needed my 2011 Chevy Equinox windows tinted and it was in December, so he told me it will take a while for all of the bubbles to dry. He told me heâd help me if I needed anything done to it afterwards but then he said you wonât be back, reassuring me his window tint is great. I only had to leave the car with him for 2 hours which was nice. Unfortunately, I wasnât happy with how the tint turned out. I waited over the 3 weeks he told me it would take to dry up and there were still a bunch of little bubbles on the smaller windows and a hair caught in the tint on my back window plus a couple of small scratches on the interior tint. I was very disappointed as itâs a new car for us and I plan to keep it for years and wanted the tint to be good. I took it back to Jesus who told me Iâd have to wait until it got hotter (May) for him to take off the bad bubble tint and put on new tint. He wanted me to leave my car there for a whole day so that he could watch to see how it was curing. He said the smaller windows were as good as he could get unless he took it into a clean room at Intel or took the windows out and charged me a lot more. He said the particles in the air are what caused the little bubbles on the window tint. He said in the heat he would be able to get the entire residue off and not leave the windows with the foggy look. If he were to take the tint off in January it would be nearly impossible to get the âfogâ off. Later, I was made aware, by an acquaintance, that if Jesus wasnât careful on the back window he could cause damage to the defrosting strips on the back window. I am sure Jesus would have done his best to make it look better but with all of the possibilities of being in a worse situation (the foggy windows, possible defrosting strips not working, small windows that could still have bubbles) my husband and I decided not to take it back into Gilbert Custom.Itâs very unfortunate that I didnât have a better result with this company because I had really high hopes. After my conversation with Jesus I felt there was no hope because of my vehicles small windows. I doubt very much that itâs my type of car windows that caused this, as I have seen other Equinoxâs with window tint that is not bubbled. I had my 2 door Honda Civicâs windows tinted years ago by a different guy and NEVER had any problems with hairs or particles floating through the air causing bubbles on the tint. And that guy was a mobile service. I thought paying $175 at Gilbert Custom was pretty reasonable, but now with the results I have, I wish I would have purchased a $75 window tint through Groupon as that company had the same kind of mixed reviews as this one.

I took my cars my cars 10 yrs ago to tint the windows and just last september my truck window start peeling off so i guess after ten years deserved a new tint. I cant believe my surprise when he told me that my windows were life time coverage and they didnt charge me a dime and did an excellent job like always. My windows never fade or turn purple they use top of the line materials. I highly recommend this bussiness.

I have had every vehicle I have owned tinted at Gilbert Custom since the late 90's, 2 mustangs, 2 sentras, FJ Cruiser, 3 Tacomas, Silverado, 94 Toy PU truck, etc etc. They have always done an excellent job. One vehicle in particular, they reinstalled one window 4 times on their own accord just to get it right. Their prices are OK but they always do it right. I have sent at least 10 people there, they have also been very happy, I would recommend Gilbert Custom to anybody that needs tinting done

I brought the car in for an estimate and they agreed to tint the windows on the car for $175.00. They said nothing about the interior of the car or the age of the car at that time. They did the tinting but got bubbles and dog hair under the tint. In trying to get them to replace it they said the car was dirty and that was the reason for the problem. I vacuum my car every week and seldom have a dog in it. I had several people look at the interior of the car. They were able to find a few hairs but not very many. The owner of the business said the bubbles were from "the felt in the car because the car is old". When they finally agreed to fix the tinting they complained that the car was "very dirty". I had just vacuumed the car once again. I explained to them that there is always prep work on any job and if this was needed they could do it to their satisfaction since they said nothing about it before I brought the car in for the second time. I finally told them to take the tint off and giv
