I know it is Valentine's Day, I know Florists are busy, I know the delivery drivers have their hands full, but it is nearly 8pm and still no delivery. I actually live 18 minutes from the florist. 8.5 miles away in the same town of Gilbert. You would think 10 hours would be sufficient to make a delivery 18 minutes or 8.5 miles away! Im also sure Im not the only one in my zip code in Gilbert who may have ordered from this establishment. After 2 polite phone calls to check the whereabouts of my wife's flowers, Ive had enough! I will never use this florist for another purchase. I will be better off doing what I normally do, Buy my own cut flowers and make an arrangement for my wife myself. I ran my own delivery service years ago, Never would I allow merchandise to be late. The owner should ensure there were enough drivers to cover the rush. As a last resort. They should have delivered to their customers themselves. If you are in a service business make sure you service your customers! Or maybe the pressure is too great for you to handle.

Lost a dear friend of 32 years from brain cancer and ordered flowers from Lena for a funeral service. They never delivered! They called me the day of the service and had excuses which were not acceptable, ie can't find. I had the funeral director and lena on the phone at the same time and they said they did not have time and had to go do a delivery to a wedding. Lena just called me (Monday) to tell me they never were able to deliver. I was devistated!! No compassion from them what so ever! Run don't walk away from this florist!!!

I had the opportunity to vist Lenas Flowers this past weekend (Sept 2009). I was interesting in making my own floral arrangement, but was having trouble finding the supplies I needed at a local "big box" craft store. I was actually recommended to Lena's by another florist (that says something right there). My purchase amount was small (under $20) and I didn't even buy any flowers (though the arrangements I saw WERE beautiful!) but Lena took time to talk me through my idea, gave me "do-it-yourself" pointers and even a demonstration. I would highly recommend a visit to Lena's if you are planning your own wedding. I understand she offers wonderful packages and I promise the service will be friendly and more than you expected!
