My car was due for inspection so decided to try Reid Auto. I asked how much it would cost to look over to see what it would need for inspection and was told $40. I then got the call telling me he looked it over, this is what it needed, and that I owed him $95. I said you originally priced me at $40 and his reply was, "Its the law that i look at emissions first and that is $55, and you asked about inspection so I told you the price for that."

Well thank you for the half-truth and making me struggle the rest of the week. To top it off when I said, "Well I cant get all those repairs done right away..what can i do?" his response was, "Well i guess come give me my money and get your car out of here".

Terrible attitude, terrible service. Look around other places I urge you.

Also, he charges a fee to look at the codes for your check engine light when ANY auto parts shop or RESPECTABLE shop looks at it for free.
