Girard High School, also known as GHS, enrolls more than 350 students in grades 9 through 12. Its academic curriculum includes English, math, social science, computer technology and physical education. The school also provides various opportunities for students to participate in weight lifting programs and competitions. Girard High School organizes several athletic activities, such as volleyball, basketball, football, tennis and archery. In addition, its extracurricular activities include drama, band and choir. The school maintains a staff of over 35 individuals. Girard High School offers membership opportunities in the Future Farmers of America. It also maintains a library and media center. The school is a part of Girard Unified School District 248.
