I have lived at a SIMCO owned apartment for about a year now , I cannot wait to get out of here simply because I'm tired of feeling unsafe .. We have had not one but two situations where maintenance has entered and NO WORK WAS DONE, I was here's the first time they knocked once and unlocked the door with no warning they were coming , when they do not have permission to enter the premises unless myself or my fiancé is there and the second time they had a 24hr notice they were coming in okay that's fine. I get home the lights are left on and no work done ... Mind you electricity isn't included in monthly rent and it's been 6 months since that has happened and Rick (manager at simco) still cannot give me an answer as to why his guys were in my apartment twice and the work they needed to do was not complete and he was very rude when dealing with the issue . Now I understand why the apartment across the hall from me is still vacant I understand why no one lives here half the building was empty ! The one across the hall was available before we moved in so who knows how long it's been vacant.
