I WAS a basic club member until I bought a newer car, called to update my account, then called to inquire about a Full Service Auto Detail they list at $150. The owner is a black man with a distinctive deep voice and all of the workers are Hispanic. The young man I was speaking to about the detail spoke clearly, with a slight accent, but was struggling with vocabulary. He mentioned "hand washing" washing my upholstery, so I was trying to get clarification of what they use to clean the upholstery. He suddenly said I'll have to call you back and hung up, OR SO HE THOUGHT! The owner began to ostracize the young man, telling him, "you don't let no f**king woman control the conversation. You heard her say she doesn't have anyone to pick her up! She's just a lonely lady that was calling here to talk to someone and give you a hard time! Oh look! She's JUST A BASIC MEMBER! She's not a premium member, YOU DONT ANSWER HER QUESTIONS LIKE THAT!"

I heard the owner read off my membership number and car make and model. The guy said,"Oh, I know who she is. It's an older white lady. Every time she comes through she gives the guys in the front and the back an air freshener, no not an air freshener... what do you call it...., a mint. She give the guys in the front and the back a mint.

I'm guessing he didn't mention that the mint is wrapped in a tip because the owner takes their tips.

The owner says, " WHAT? See she is WIERD! There's something wrong with her! You don't answer her questions! I wouldn't have let her ask me questions like that."

The owner was condescending and hateful to his employee and mocked and was speaking disrespectfully of me. I took a memship cancellation letter to the owner. He denied the conversation and started screaming at me that he was calling the cops to have me thrown out, until I told him to PLEASE call the cops, because I recorded the exchange. He "folded" his phone and put it in back his pocket. He's EXPLOITING hispanic workers!
