Free range doggie daycare is great my dog goes all week long from 6:30 am to dinner time I buy a weekly package which is very convenient. The office staff and pet attendants are personable and really care about the dogs. The location is very convenient from my gym and center of glastonbury. Easy access to route 2 and 84. The business is under new management who really go the extra mile with customer service and accomadations. I also have boarded my dog there while traveling for business and it has worked our great. Would highly recommend this place for doggie day are and boarding.

My Dogs absolutely love this place! I bring them twice a week and they always come home happy and tired after playing with their friends all day! The staff is great, and you can tell they just love the pups!

Free Range is simply the BEST! Our black lab, an active puppy, cannot wait to go in the mornings and is tuckered out when he comes home. Literally he gets bored when he doesn't get to go. The staff is amazing and genuinely care about our guy (which is good because our family is rather obsessed/particular with our Jax) We wouldn't send him anywhere else

Also great bonus- Free range posts pictures daily of the dogs on their Facebook page. While at work, I can actually see pictures of my dog having fun that exact day! Even my daughter away at college checks it often to see her missed labrador.

LITERALLY THE WORST DOG CARE I...

LITERALLY THE WORST DOG CARE I HAVE EVER SEEN. I made an appointment to have the “trainer” evaluate my 6 month old puppy for day care. I walked my puppy into the dirty lobby to have a man look at me for a minute, say nothing, then walk over to my puppy and grab his leash and pull him roughly over and try to stick his hand in the dogs face. I have taken my two dogs through formal training and this appeared to be exactly the opposite of what you should do when approaching a dog. When my puppy yelped and urinated on the floor the still unidentified man laughed and said “he didn’t pass”. I am thankful to have witnessed this before I ever put either of my dogs in this establishment. I have used dog day care facilities in two locations and they have been wonderful. I hope this place goes out of business. The only positive thing I can say is at least my dog peed on their floor!

I have to agree with ATAJJA on this one. The owner doesn't really seem to like dogs or people. I will not be taking my dogs back there.

My dogs love the place and the staff takes great care of my 2 labs. They come home everyday tired and content !! They play indoors and out.Outside is a huge play groud with ramps ane tunnels the dog chase eachother around. The staff cleans the dogs up at the end of each day. The indoor play area is a huge airconditioned room for hot or rainy days. There's allways 2 or 3 people there suppervising the play groups and the manager is a trainer so you end up getting free training !! I can't say enough!

Don't do it

I will put it very simply- If you care about your dog at all, then don't leave your dog with them. It is unfortunate that the people of Glastonbury don't have more options with dog daycare. My first impression was that they don't even like dogs and that they just opened the place because they thought it would be a good business opportunity not that they care at all about animals. I feel bad if a problem did happen and you have to deal with the manager. He does not seem like the kind of person you want to deal with if you want to raise some kind of concern or question. If you don't believe me just go there and you can see for yourself. Don't expect any kind of appropriate greeting like, "how are you?" or a friendly, "how can I help you?" Even my husband, who doesn't notice many of these things, said that he could never feel comfortable leaving our dog there. Good luck with your dog daycare search.
