I worked with 2 excellent real estate and short sale professionals who recommended this law firm for resolving a short sale. I am assuming their opinions of the firm were positive because they had little interaction with one the partners, Lou Tavano. If you are looking for legal expertise, it might exist in this office. It’s hard to know however, because Tavano doesn’t feel it’s necessary to explain procedure, expects you to take his decisions at face value and is impatient with your questions. If you are ok with legal representation that treats you - the client - in a condescending and patronizing manner, but gets the job done, then use this firm. If on the other hand, you expect to be involved and understand the legal, tax, and long-term ramifications of a short sale transaction, expect “What’s not to understand?” and “Just accept it” as typical responses to your inquiries. There are other firms that know how to treat people with respect.
