He has over 38 years of experience and graduate education in engineering and business. During the first third of those years he performed various mechanical engineering tasks in the U.S. Air Force, Ingersoll-Rand Co. and what was then Allied Chemical Corp. ( now Honeywell ). In these assignments he worked as an aerospace test engineer, turbomachinery project engineer and chemical process plant project / reliability engineer, respectively. He then completed an MS degree in applied materials with an experimental thesis on corrosion. After graduate school he worked as a corrosion researcher, materials engineer, engineering program manager and principal engineer for Battelle Memorial Institute, CC Technologies, Inc, Henkels & McCoy, Inc DMME, Inc, respectively.Completing root-cause, failure analyses and selecting metallic materials to resist the various ways that materials can fail in service have always been active interests. He combines diverse engineering and organizational experience with practical and scientific engineering knowledge.Our diverse engineering background allows us to discern when we can be fully effective and when we provide referrals to other competent specialists.
