Robert M. Finley Middle School offers educational programs to students in grades six through eight. The school, which is set on 20 acres of land, is equipped with a library and audiovisual center, physical education complex, learning resource room, reading and computer labs, a unified arts center housing the home economics, fine arts and Wunsch Auditorium, a cafeteria, school store, and playing and ball fields. The school is known for its award winning music program. It was also one of the first middle schools in the nation to institute team teaching. The school athletic program for seventh grade students provides an introduction to high element program with the use of the circus ladder and the centipede. It provides various clubs, including technology, science, international academic, film and drama. Robert M. Finley Middle School is a part of the Glen Cove School District and is located in Glen Cove, N.Y.
