and not even worth the one but giving it to them for saving animals period - I would never take another animal there as long as I live as long as Fox Valley Wildlife is around - I took 5 baby opossums to Willowbrook, day before EAster last year - their mother had been killed by a car, and we came upon it shortly after and I checked her pouch and kept the 5 alive until Willowbrook opened that Sat morning at 9 - I would have kept them but they require a feeding tube, etc...and nobody would sell me one even though I am an experienced rehabber - anyway, I was relieved they said they would take good care of them - so I called later in the day to find out how they were doing, and the girl said that she was sorry but the vet didn't think they were worth saving and fed them to another animal since nobody there could or would provide the round the clock feeding required! If they had told me that at the beginning I would never had taken them there and had even offered to keep them myself...Fox Valley relies on donations only and has the best volunteers in the world and DOES provide round the clock care when necessary! That is what rescue is truly about! Don't take animals here - take the extra time to drive to Fox Valley - or call me and I'll take them for you!
