Medical Billing & Management Services is a privately owned company that provides billing and management services for physicians. It is one of the 40 largest medical billing companies in the United States. MBMS began billing for physicians in 1986 and has clients in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia and West Virginia. When physicians become clients of MBMS, the company provides a team to complete a transition process. The team satisfies practice and/or hospital system interface requirements; reviews and performs any credentialing needs; evaluates and makes fee schedule recommendations; customizes billing parameters and cycles; installs a dedicated toll-free telephone line for physicians and patients; and establishes a client database in the MBMS system. MBMS offers complete billing and management services for hospital-based and office-based physician practices.
