Their exam and attention were great, and even when I came back with my problem they were attentive and nice. But they did not fix my problem, and for glasses that cost more than I ever paid ( because insurance was not what I hoped it would be) I'm still irritated months afterwards.

I was told by the salesman that these lenses would be clear from side to side. When I demonstrated to him that they were no better than my previous ones but got blurry on the sides, he counter-demonstrated how that could not be and frankly did not to believe me nor apologize. This matters little with the farsighted portion, but tells me something of his character (Irving I think it was but I'm bad with names). But now the same claim for the reading portion of these lenses is a joke, as these are the worst reading glasses I've ever had, the window of clarity being about 20%. This could not be corrected, said the optometrist, because of my (slight) change of sight. Well then, Give me the prescription of my other glasses, or even of the non-prescription reading glasses! which is what I'm using now for any lengthy close-up reading.

So I chalk it up to incompetence and a little polite stubbornness. But I do give the gentleman credit for, after spending a good twenty minutes fitting me with a frame, noticing my old beat-up frames and suggesting the unbreakable, laser-cut OVVO frames, which I love because they fit great, a little convenience I've never known before!
