I took my truck to Adolf's Transmission with what turned out to be an electrical problem not an issue with the transmission. Adolf himself diagnosed the problem (with no charge!!!!!) and sent me to Auto Electric in Glendale who fixed the problem. I was really impressed with both shops. Adolf was both friendly and knowledgeable. Take your car here!! You won't be disappointed.

What a fantastic experience! I brought a Ford Explorer to Adolphs Transmissions so they could diagnose the problem and to give me a price on repairing the transmission. Tony checked out the vehicle, told me what he thought it would need to be fixed and how much it would cost for repairs. The repair cost was exactly what he said it would be! Talk about being an expert! I would highly recommend this transmission shop to anyone looking for an expert opinion and expert repairs.

I shopped at 12 different transmission shops before I found Adolphs. His price was not only the best, the service was great and the transmission works better than new. My 2003 Honda Pilot scared off alot of shops and the dealer wanted 5 grand. Alot of Transmission shops don't perform the rebuild, they just drop the tranny and swap in a rebuild. Adolph competes the work and gives a great warranty.

since they are only open M-F 7am, to 5pm. Oh wait, Friday's they like to leave early, between 4 and 4:30. Most people have normal M-F, 8-5 jobs, so it is impossible to make their hours. They aren't open late or on weekends, so how do they get any business? Too bad too, they came highly recommended, and now I need to find a shop that caters to people with real jobs.

My 1990 Chevy truck’s 700R4 transmission failed at 118,000 miles. I asked a friend if he knew of a good transmission repair shop and he recommended Adolph’s. They only took 3 days to repair it. That was 5 years ago and I now have 50,000 miles on the rebuilt. This is the only place to take your vehicle for tranny problems.
