I quite honestly have never lived for such a poorly managed and maintained property. It is truly a slum in my opinion. I don't have a lot of high expectations but knew I was in trouble when in just 2 years there were multiple homicides, armed robberies, drug arrests, etc.. The management is clearly unqualified for their position and inept at best in executing their duties. While I understand that the property is under contract due to section8 low-income housing and now a new contract to accept refugees they really need to make maintaining the property and their financial records a priority. I have submitted on two separate occasions a work order for the same issue and still after 2 years have not received a response, repair or resolution. The pool was green and looked more like a cess pool for 6 months until they finally just drained it. I cannot count the number of times I have paid my rent on time and still received a 5 day notice and had to assist them in correcting their own accounting records. They've been through countless Managers over the last 2 years and each time I've hoped one of them would actually know how to correctly manage a complex. Unfortunately the owner isn't concerned and continues to hire inexperienced, low salary employees in an attempt to save money. As a result what we end up with are Managers who have no visibility into the business or best practice for the rental industry. Not to mention maintenance, grounds and operational staff who while may be able to jerry rig something to get it half functional, have no idea how to properly repair or maintain anything. Someone should really audit these people. Truly sad. The best advice I can give regarding Country Creek Apartments is to run far and run fast! I know that I plan to very soon. I really regret ever moving here. Please don't make the same mistake. I promise you'll regret it too if you do. I've included some images of the property at the link below. Since the day we moved in to this apartment (Jan 2012), there have been issues. When they did the initial inspection, they noted that there were cockroaches on the kitchen counter and floor, but they explained to us that they had just sprayed and it was from that. Needless to say, we haven't been able to get rid of them. They bug bombed the place, sprayed it, and it did absolutely nothing. They have a major roach problem. There is always an issue with noise as well. The walls are so incredibly thin, that we can hear WHICH songs the upstairs neighbors play. The construction of the apartment is not up to par either. We have to shove our way through the front door because it always gets stuck. The cabinets and the ONE drawer are also shoddily made. Went to open the drawer for the first time when we moved in and it nearly fell apart in my hands. The air conditioning unit resembles one that would be in a hotel/motel. It does not do a good job at distributing the AC, which is pretty imperative when in the AZ summers. To get the room to livable temperatures, you have to have it on all day, which is very expensive. Also, on three different websites it says in capital letters that there is no pet rent. Guess what they charge? Pet rent! When confronted about this, they dodge the question entirely. The apartments are also swarmed with cats.

not a bad place i enjoyed living there. Just wish there werent so many stray cats spraying into the air conditioners.
