Unfortunately today I had a horrible experience with this establishment. I tried to book my Groupon and the person I spoke with said that they were all booked and would not be able to make a reservation until after it expired. She implied that over 400 people were in the same boat as me. She said that it could be used, but one person would need to pay full price. When I did the math in the end I would actually have to pay $2 more than if I had never bought the Groupon. During our conversation she continued to call me, "Sweetie and honey." condescendingly and when I asked to speak with the owner she refused my request.

It seems to me that Kimberly Ann's Tea Room is blaming the customers and trying to cash in on the 400 paying customers that will not have their groupons honored because they actually do not have the capacity to services that many customers.

Also, I've been to this tea room and paid full price. It is definitely overpriced and the food is overrated. The location and setting is rather dated too.

This is a wonderful shabby-chic family home in Old Town Glendale run by Kimberly Ann and her grandmother Mae, who is the chef. Family members usually provide the service as well. Whether it's afternoon tea (requires 24 hour notice) or lunch, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is comfy. The menu is quite varied, and the scones are a specialty. Salads, sandwiches and the like are offered for lunch. All are yummy! This is a small business well worth visiting -- support your local businesses!
