The apartments have thin walls made of plywood or cardboard( ? ), not bricks. You can hear noises through the walls and floors.
My electric bill in the summer was around $200 a month for one bedroom with the thermostat set at 80 degrees F. The management did not run criminal or credit checks on tenants. The tenants here are trashy. Many are blacks or Latinos.
