Founded in 1972, Park Meadows Elementary School is a community school that serves students in kindergarten through sixth grade. The school offers a variety of extracurricular activities, including student council, chorus, flag and recycling teams, and walking, drama and beta clubs. In addition, it offers various after-school programs. Park Meadows Elementary School also operates a library and media center that offers an accelerated reader program. Its academic curriculum includes English, mathematics, science, social studies, computer literacy, art, and health and physical education. Additionally, the school has a guidance counseling department for students, parents and teachers. Located in Glendale, Ariz., Park Meadows Elementary School is a part of the Deer Valley Unified School District.
