My husband and I love this place. Tim is the greatest. He gives the best deals & does great work. We buy our boots and shoes from him. When he waits on you he treats you like you are the only one there. He takes his time to make sure every thing is right. I even take my favorite jeans to him to fix my zippers, and he customizes my husbands boots for him so it is easy to get on and off. Just an all out friendly store.

I chose this place to complete some small repairs to 2 pairs of boots and a pair of shoes. I simply needed new tips on the heels, nothing more. When I returned to pick them up, the shop owner "Tim Goodrich" was not there. Instead, there was a scraggly biker sporting his Harley gear and went by "Cowboy". I handed him the blue tag I was given when the boots/shoes were dropped off. He said, "I can't do anything with this, I need to know what they look like". Seriously? You didn't tag the shoes and boots I brought in? He hunted all over the back of his shop and could not find them. I offered to come into the back to assist. I was shocked at what I saw: PILES of untagged shoes and boots discarded all over the place. Literally. No exaggerration. In fact, "Cowboy" readly admitted that they don't tag any of the shoes. In fact, they don't even organize them. I found one pair of shoes in the front of the store, stuffed on a shelf. A second pair of boots was found stuffed into a shelf in the back on top of shoe boxes. Worse, my tall boots were found on their filthy, stained floor in the back, buried under a dozen other boots. I could not believe what I was seeing. There were beer bottles in the trash can and the place smelled like bad pot. Not ONE pair of shoes or boots was tagged and nothing was organized. I inspected the so-called "repairs" and was baffled at what I found. This imbicile had apparently used pliers on the leather heel to remove the old tips and damaged the leather. The new tips were crooked and not sized correctly. I was utterly shocked and could not even find words to say to this moron. To apologize, he said, "Just pay me 10 bucks". I wanted to knock out what few teeth he had remaining in his mouth. Instead, I handed him a $10 bill (which I am sure he pocketed and failed to inform Tim about) and I walked out.



I will be getting these boots repaired at a professional shop in Los Angeles and will be filing a lawsuit against this sorry excuse of a repair shop for the costs.



The fact Tim Goodrich was the person to hire this bozo and obviously Tim does not use any kind of tagging or organization of customer shoes, means Tim is just as incompetent and inept as the 1960's throwback that he has employed to be there in his place.



How these idiots have remained in business is beyond me. I can only assume that the people they ordinarily have come in there must be purchasing shoes from Walmart or the Salvation Army.
