Provided by YP.comGreat Dealer!! Car Dealers seem to get a bad rap but after buying a car here you wouldn't know why. These guys helped me get a car they didn't have in stock. They found it and got it the next day. Every other dealer I went to said that car didn't exist. They also gave me a great price. I was expecting to pay sticker or more because I knew this was the only truck like it that existed at the time...Thank you Allen Gwynn. I will send all my friends who need new cars to you first. A++

Finally someone shows up to assist me and gave a very expensive quote for just checking the issue. Are you serious $200 for just checking Very upset will take business somewhere else

Provided by YP.comA terrible place to buy a car. They deceived us about our trade-in and were entirely unprofessional. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone and would stay away from this dealership at all costs.
Perhaps I should have know something was amiss when I asked to test drive a car, and the salesman had me pick up his manager's lunch- I kid you not.
Plain and simple- these people should not be in business.

The short version
We were pressured into leasing a vehicle, the Spark EV, on monday and on tuesday we find out that GM offered extra rebates which would have lowered our lease by $60 a month. ONE DAY LATER. We contacted them about this and they said this was the best price we could ever give for the car we received, $189 a month with zero down. I called Chevrolet of Montebello today and they said they could give us the same car for $134 a month with zero down. I do not expect much out of most human beings especially car sales men, but this was just disgusting.
long version
I took my girlfriend here last saturday to lease a car. We worked with John Soufiani. He took us to his manager Tony. I asked for the $189 a month $0 down 36 month advertised lease on the Spark EV. They never heard of it. Tony instead offered us a $3200 down $95 a month 24 month lease which works out to $228 a month when you factor in the down payment. I declined. He then told me its better because on the the other lease I have to pay sales tax on the the entire cost of the car not just the lease payments... That makes no sense I told him. He continued to pressure us to give him a number for the monthly payment we want, but refused to give the advertised offer. We left and told him we need to think about it. We left john our number.
On monday John called us 3 times and left messages saying that his GM was in and maybe he could get us a better deal but that we needed to come in today. Harry, who we met with, is the assistant GM. Harry opened with the same lease $3200 down with $95 a month but now it is for 36 months and we only pay tax on the lease payment. I asked about why his manager said we had to pay it on the entire vehicle price and he said he would not have said that. He walks away and comes back with a sheet of paper that said $189 a month for 36 months or $179 a month for 48 months. I was suspicious on why all of the sudden they were able to offer the deal all but it was what we we interested in so we took it. They rushed us through the paper work even though we did not have proof of our address. I said we could finish it tomorrow and we could bring it in but they insisted that we take the vehicle that night. This is know as a spot lease which should not be done.
I wake up the next morning, check the news and chevy has huge incentives on the Spark EV for $0 down and $139 a month. I felt sick to my stomach. I felt like we had be taken advantage of. My girlfriend called them on her way to work and they told her that it was the best lease they could have done for the model that she received. I called later and spoke to Harry. He told me that this was a completely different car that they were offering this deal on and that they dont carry the car the deal was for. He also said that they had no prior knowledge that chevy was going to offering incentives the next day. I dont believe that for a second. I eventually called Chevrolet of Montebello and spoke to Sara who was very nice and knowledgeable about the lease program. She offered me the same model that we leased for $134 per month with $0 down. that would have saved us $60 a month.
I am not just blaming this on Allen Gwynn's dealership and the people working there, we have some pretty terrible timing. But I do feel that we were pressured into taking the lease before incentives could be applied. That is bad business and they do not care about customer satisfaction. WE WILL NEVER do business with them again, nor recommend any family and friends to them. I hope the extra $2160 dollars is worth the unsatisfied customers, negative reviews, and no future business/referals from us.
