This place is a joke. My home warranty sent this company out it took the 15 days after they had my new AC from insurance company to come out and that's after I called and complained. When they showed up they charged me for all kind of things they never replaced. Total crooks. My new AC still does not work after thier installation. Never hire them.

This is the WORST company I have ever dealt with. A technician came out to my house on 11-5-2015 and said we needed a new power board. He returned Monday 11-9-2015 and said he was given the wrong part and would be back in a few hours. Come 5:30 pm 11-9-2015 we received a call from the technician letting us know he would not be coming back that evening as promised. Ok I understand stuff happens. Come Tuesday 11-10-2015 the technician returned 3 hours late with no common courtesy call to advise of why he was running late. Tuesday night the technician finally arrives to only advise us he is still missing items to make our heater work. Mind you I have a 70 and 73 year old in the house. The technician says I will be back tomorrow I PROMISE. COME 11:30am on 11-11-2015 no call from the technician. I sent the technician a message asking when he would arrive as his reply was ...I'm picking up your part & coming to your address. It is now 9:15pm on 11-11-2015 and the technician has yet to show up & his office can't get anybody out till tomorrow. The technician also had to use my ladder to even get on our roof to look at the unit. WHY A COMPANY WOULD SEND A TECHNICIAN TO DO A JOB WITHOUT THE CORRECT TOOLS/EQUIPMENT IS BEYOND ME!!! I WOULD NOT EVEN GIVE THIS COMPANY 1 STAR BUT IN ORDER TO POST THIS I MUST GIVE AT LEAST 1 STAR

We love Comfort Zone Heating and Cooling. Technician has been over once to repair my central a/c. They are punctual, professional, and very kind people. And I think they are really competitively priced. I would strongly recommend anyone use their service.

I second that vote for the worst company to ever set up shop in the Los Angeles area... We have been waiting since August 21st to have our Air Conditioning fixed... it is NOW Sept. 18th. The first person who came showed up at 7:25pm and only filled the freeon but missed the fact that oil was leaking from a broken valve, probably because the sun had gone done and he didn't check it. After only 5 days it stopped working AGAIN. THE SECOND CALL HAS PROVEN WORSE THAN THE FIRST ONE. No one ever does follow up and you have to literally stay on top of them daily to get any information whatsoever. I have worked in the housing industry for 17 years and I have NEVER seen a company that cares so little about their customers. I repeat NEVER!!!!!

This the worst company I have ever run across. My AC broke over 3 weeks ago and I was unfortunately assigned this piece of sh*t company as my contractor.



First appointment they sent out a "spcialist", he gave me a window of from 9am to 6pm, nice and wide, he showed up at 630pm even missing the window. He came in and fiddled with the furnace for not even 3 minutes and walked out the door, he gave me a receipt and said he will send in a claim requesting to fix my blower. He took my 60 dollar service fee and left, told me that they will contact me about that.



5 days go by and not a word from them, so I called the company to check up. The receptionist searched for my file and said that the "specialist" wrote that he FIXED the problem. So I told her it wasn't. She said there was no opening until Thursday, another 3 days of no AC. Thursday came and another specialist came and said my compressor was broken, and he would turn in the claim that night and the company would send in the claim into my insurance company by friday and they would call me to let me know.



Monday comes around with no word, and I get a call from my insurance company to check up on comfort zone's work. So I told them that comfort zone was suppose to send in a claim last Friday, my insurance company (First America) said they DID NOT receive anything from comfort zone. So First America had to call Comfort Zone and they made yet another appointment for me for comfort zone to come out and fix the compressor, but they did not have an opening until Thursday.



So, Thursday night comes by and nobody showed up to my house, during all of these appointments i had to take the day off of work because their window is from 9am - 6pm, I called comfort zone and they told me that the compressor was still under warranty and they are going to have to contact the manufacturer to replace the compressor. I asked her how come they weren't able to call me and let me know instead of ME CALLING THEM. She told me I had to wait until CZ gets word from the manufacturer and CZ WILL LET ME KNOW.



By this time I was fed up with CZ, so I had my insurance company follow up with them a few times, my insurance company told me on Thursday that CZ will be coming out to my house on Monday to pick up the compressor. Monday comes and I'm sitting at home by my phone and nobody shows up, I called them and they said the tech called me but i didnt pick up show they cancelled my appointment, they made another one for me Wednesday. This time I told them TO MAKE SURE they get the job done, the compressor is outside so I give them permission to get it without me being home, I even had my insurance company send them an EMAIL saying they are allowed to take the compressor with or without me home. They said OK !.



Wednesday comes and goes and NOBODY shows up, so I called and they said they couldnt find my appointment, and the girl that took my appointment wasnt working today.... So I got another appointment for Friday.



I called my insurance company and changed contractor, even tho the new contractor is going to have to come to my house and access the problem all over again, but I would take that over an UNRELIABLE and UNPROFESSIONAL company like Comfort Zone anyday of the week.



I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. STAY CLEAR

I am very surprised that it got so many positive reviews. I suspect they are false given the 5 stars for all.

This company is horrendous. We booked an appointment and they never showed up or called. I called multiple times and still nothing. I would say if you want your AC fixed go to somebody else, because if you go with them, like me, you will still have a broken AC

Honest, reasonable, quick service.

Called them out for a commercial air conditioning services. for duct leak testing they were out the next day.Quickly diagnosed the problem, quickly fixed it, for much less than we'd been paying elsewhere for service.

Very impressed with this company.

Prompt, reliable, reasonable and friendly.

I will be sure to call them for any future needs.

Thanks to Gamlet my house is cool in the summer and warm when it's cold. I paid another company double what I spent with COMFORT ZONE HEATING AND COOLING but they did a terrible job. I am glad I found COMFORT ZONE HEATING AND COOLING because they fixed the problems and now my family and I are comfortable at home.

This company specializes not only in central air conditioning services, but also in duct leak testing, air balancing services and carbon monoxide detecting and removing...Call if you have any of these problems. i guarranty they are the best professionals is this field. you won't regret in trusting this comfort zone heating and cooling company.

when i called to make an appointment someone with beautiful voice picked up the phone(owners daughter i guess) and scheduled my appointment . about hour and a half someone was in my apartment fixing my central air conditioning ....

after half and hour my AC was working .

Hamlet helped me a lot.i had central Air conditioning problems. i am disabled, i can't walk. and this man came like from heaven for me. he fixed everything and charged me nothing for his work and time spanding im my home.

Professional, courteous, and HONEST

So glad I did my research on yp over the weekend. I needed someone to help fix our air conditioning unit.I expected to have to schedule an appointment sometime this week...but was very surprised to hear that he was available and could be at my place within half an hour.I am so glad I called cofort zone heating and cooling.

We can now get through this summer heat wave.

Someone from comfort zone heating and cooling came to check our air conditioning system and figured out the problem pretty quick. The unit was old and weak, so he scheduled his crew to come replace the unit . They fifnished up this morning and it works like a charm.

i recently had my roof redone. this past weekend the water began leaking from my a/c vents. i found Comfort Zone Heating and Cooling from yellow pages. Called them to make an appointment. this guy came and was really friendly and told me that probably one of the duts was ripped.and after going into the attic he verified that there was a lot of duct wok. After getting all the materials this guy did his work right. there is no leak. he did a great work.

i recommend this company ...i am glad i found this company.
