WE PLANNED A TRIP TO SAN FRANCISCO ON HARLEY, I CANT AFFORD TO BUY ONE SO I RENTED ONE. I CALLED THREE WEEKS IN ADVANCE CAUSE I WANTED A SPECIFIC BIKE.
IF YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH THE TRIP YOU KNOW ITS 8 HOURS AT LEAST.
I ASK FOR THE BEAST, THE BIGGEST BIKE THEY HAD I BELEIVE IT WAS THE STREE GLIDE AND IT WAS AVAILABLE. TURNED OUT THE GUY WHO HAD RENTED IT PREVIOUSLY CRASHED AND DAMAGED THE BIKE. I NEVER GOT A CORTESY CALL TO INFORM ME THAT MY BIKE WOULDNT BE AVILABLE NOR DID I GET A OPTIONAL EVEN TRADE. I ASK FOR ANYTHING WITH A BACK SUPPORT BUT NOTHING WAS AVAILABLE. I SAW THEM GIVE ANOTHER STREET GLIDE TO ONE OF THERE FRIENDS BUT I WAS f*#$ED. NO TIME TO ARGUE I TOOK THE BIKE.

I COULD NOT CANCEL THE TRIP CAUSE I WOULD HAVE LOST 200 DOLLARS ON THE HOTEL AND 100 DOLLARS ON THE ALCATRAZ TICKETS. BOTTOM LINE I FELT LIKE THEY TREATED ME LIKE CRAP AND HOOKED UP ALL THERE BUDDIES. APPERENTLY THERE WAS A BIG RIDE AND THESE GUYS HAD TO GET THERE BIKES AT MY EXPENSE.

Helpful parts counter. OEM stuff is always expensive and service dept will never be cheap, but I've always had good experiences dealing with these guys...

I was out is L.A to visit some friends and family, While I was there I thought I would rent a Harley for a few days and see the sights. I found Glendale Harley on google and called to see if they has anything for me with short notice. they gave me a few options and asked me what I was looking for and where I was planning to ride. I told them I wanted to do a few hour rides each day and see the city. I was told that a FatBoy might be a good fit for me. I got to the dealership where i was welcomed to the dealership and sales staff were very friendly. I walked over to the rental desk and was told that a few people had just walked in before me and it would be a few minutes. Ernie one of the sales members said he would show me around the dealership and took me to a special room where they had a large private collection of vintage Harley-Davidson bikes from 1912 all the way up to the 70's and 80's. Ernie did such a great job I could have looked at those bikes all day. One of the members from the rental department walked over to where I was with Ernie and told me that my bike was cleaned and ready when I was. The paper work was very quick and they even printed me out a map and suggested a few rides they thought I might like.



All I can say is this place was great, and if you want to see a great selection of vintage bikes and be offered first class service come to Glendale Harley.
