I would like to say that in the last 10 years i have been getting the same quality haircut from Modern Barbershop and i would never switch. Being one of the most popular barbershops in Glendale its a given that there is going to be some waiting so it is best to call ahead of time and schedule an appointment. All 4 barbers are prescise and do excellent work. You will never be upset with your haircut here and it is definatly worth the wait. From day 1 to now all the barbers at Modern Barbershop have been nothing but great!

I've been coming to the same barber shop for nearly 10 years and I always get great service. All of the staff are more than friendly and the prices are an added bonus. Very reasonable, always enjoy my haircuts. Make an appointment and you won't have any issues at all, other reviews are FALSE. 4 barbers, all of them DCA certified and California state board licensed barbers. You won't regret it.

Took my little son to get a haircut; they guy treated me and my 5 year old with a frown from the beginning to the end and it was obvious he didn't want to see us there anymore. He was a good barber; but I wish the way he treated us was as good as his skills as a barber.

Good haircut, poor customer service!



Obviously, these gentlemen's know how to cut hair no doubt about it; however, I am not sure if they provide the greatest customer service.



Sitting in there for more than 75 minutes I watched people went ahead of me. if all of them had appointments before and if this shop does not accept walk-ins, then I would expect a sign saying so; or at least one of the barbers should have told me not to stay.



After 1 hour and 15 minutes of waiting and watching them ignoring me, I said goodbye and went to another barber shop -Jina's hair cut (1259 Glendale Ave) - and got a nice hair cut in 20 minutes.



I think what bothered me today most was the fact that the barbers in Modern Barber shop ignored my presence in there. They simply could have told me not to wait or just come another day or something like that.



Sorry no offense to anyone, but I wouldn't waste my time in modern barber shop next time!
