We always like to stop in and buy some treats for our dog when we are in the plaza this store is located in. Kids enjoy looking at the various reptiles and mice available in the store and begging for one of them. So far we've only purchased Beta fish. Each time though the poor Beta fish never survives more than a few months.

I had a horrible experience at this Petco. While yes, they have a pretty large stock of supplies, their management and organization and consideration for pet owners lacks greatly.



I had bought a guinea pig who ended up having a skin infection for which I brought it back for treatment under the Petco guarantee and they were horrible about it. The assistant manager on duty brushed off any of my concerns and worries and gave me no information on what the process of care would be. He seemed so uncaring about my pet. I had to call several times over the next weeks to find out any information and was finally told by another person that I could come pick her up.



Obviously, I learned my lesson about not buying small animals at pet stores as they can come with several health issues, but also because of the lack of care by the employees and animal caretakers.
