Provided by YP.comThis is the most clueless camera repair place I have ever seen, if indeed they are a repair place. I sent my camera in with a very obvious problem, huge sensor noise like a shotgun blast all over the sensor. They claimed it needed a new sensor, which I bbelieved as I tried to clean it. They charged $125 which I paid and then when it returned I tested it with several lenses and no change in the pattern...they hadn't done a thing, and if anyone had bothered to check before returning it, it would be incredibly obvious that it still had a problem. Calling them today they claimed they would issue a refund. Not holding my breath on that one but it was Paypal so I think they have a fraud relief of some sort.

Provided by YP.comI googled to find a place in LA to get my auto focus checked and my sensors cleaned on my Canon 6D. Eric's Camera came up and as I read the reviews on Google was convinced I had to check them out. The representative fixed my auto focus for me in under a minute and taught me how to resolve the issue if it happens again (it was a quick. Resetting the camera and no charge ). I then left it overnight for a general cleaning of the sensors. When I went to pick it up the following day, the representative was quick with retrieving my camera and the cleaning of the body and lenses was only $58.00 I Love this place and will never go anywhere else for a cleaning because the second I took my camera out for some test shots it was working just as if it were brand new.

Provided by YP.comWhat makes Pro Camcorder great is he is honest and will tell you straight up what is wrong with your camcorder. I found them after my dropped Sony HDR-FX1 Camcorder was looked at by another repair shop and told it would have to go back to Sony and cost between $400-500. I brought it to Pro camcorder repair. After looking at it for 15 minutes he advised it needs new tape deck, informing me that the error code flashing because tape deck is not working properly and needs to be replace. They charged me $195 to replace it . I couldn't trust anyone more that I trust Pro Camcorder with my camcorders.

Provided by YP.comI'm definitely going to be a repeat customer after today's experience.
Had trouble with the Sony camcorder. Found this place on Google so I called and they said bring it by for a look. The man at the counter helped me immediately me. He said the display touch panel cable needs to be replaced. He gave me reasonable price. The camcorder was ready in one day.
Now I can use my Camcorder again.
Thank you

Provided by YP.comMy Sony HXR-NX5U camcorder took a tumble last week - on the concrete. Of course this happened a week before we were working at a big event. It started to not focus. I shipped my camcorder overnight to them when I received the estimate by email. they e-mailed me saying they could fix the damage. (Be aware of your emails because they don't call you to tell you the estimate instead they email you, which can be a bit confusing.) back in my hands in less the 3 days. this place is pretty fast with repairs, Pro Camcorder Repair really impressed me with their prices and customer service. I highly recommend them and would give them 10 stars if I could!

Provided by YP.comI jammed the tape deck on my CanonZR60. Camcorder Repair Center Provided an estmate of $86 to replace the deck. That was a lot to spend on an old camcorder but I decided to send the camcorder for repair. Within a few days I received an email stating that the repair would be $227. They said the tape deck had been replaced but that the video head needed to be replaced. I decline. The camera was returned and it was obvious that nothing had been done. This company, as far as I'm concerned is a total ripoff.

Provided by YP.comI described the problems with my camcorder (Canon Vixia HF M31 A) as requested via email. They responded confidently that they knew the problem and could fix it and gave an estimate of the amount. I sent the camcorder to them, and they responded, giving an amount higher than the original estimate. I paid the stipulated fee. The camcorder was returned, only to find that the same problem still existed. I returned it to them, and they said that there was a different problem this time. Again I paid the additional amount, only to have it return with the same problem. This was repeated still a third time. By this time, I have been out over $400, twice what I can buy the same used camera on ebay. Their "guarantee" explicitly says that it is not a money-back guarantee so I am just out the money since I am not about to send it to them again.

Provided by YP.comAbsolutely horrible experience. They operate as Eric's camera repair also without certification for a separate business. The experience for us was complicated and extremely distressing. They use BBB but are not authorized. and are very difficult to negotiate with. I do not trust them at all. Avoid this business and go elsewhere. We are still waiting for a resolution and and to get our cameral returned. Our case is with the Attorney General of Ca. Fingers crossed.

Provided by YP.comTerrible place. Don't go there. I sent them my camera, they told me they knew what the problem was and it was going to cost $380 I sent it and paid for the service. They sent it back and the problem is there. Sent the camera back and when I picked it up it was in exactly the same condition. They didn't fix it. They didn't say a thing just gave me the camera and good bye. They won't return the money, but they don't tell you that until you paid. I lost money, jobs and time. I don't recommend this place to anyone. Look for a pro shop, this guys are amateurs. Don't waste your time and your money.

Provided by YP.comOutstanding. The Best Customer Service
I took my Sony camera for some extensive repair. I have my camera for over 7 years now and I do not want to buy a new one since it is wonderful in quality. The pictures taken with this camera are amazing. So I took it to Eric's and they said they need
to order some parts in order for it to work as it used to. They said it will take 2 days for the parts to arrive and then after they receive the part they need another day to fix the camera. So I called back in 3 days they said the camera will be ready in
couple of h ours since I called them during the morning. So by afternoon my camera was ready and working perfectly. I liked what how professional they were and they did deliver the camera on time as I was promised. Very good service.

Provided by YP.comI needed my DSLR camera HDMI port replaced. I was a little nervous to try Eric's camera repair because reviews were so mixed. But I'm so happy I sent my camera to them!
I called many camera repair shops including repair center before sending my camera to Eric's camera , They were asking to replace the main circuit board but I had only problem with HDMI port but when I called Eric's camera I explained the problem I had with my camera over the phone, Eric told me they can replace the port only and they have a especial soldering machine to do that.
I sent my camera to them and I got it back in 8 days, the hdmi port was replaced and they cleaned my camera with no charge for cleaning.
I will definitely use them again if I ever need to fix another camera! Super hassle-free, great price, great service. Thanks guys!
I'm extremely pleased and would recommend Eric's Camera any time!

Provided by YP.comBEWARE! I sent my Sony HDR-HC3 in and got an estimate and description of the problem. They said "The tape deck mechanism assembly and video head need to be replaced." After agreeing to the price for the work and receiving my camcorder back, it had the same exact problem.
Does that sound like they replaced the "tape deck mechanism and video head" as they described? I think not.
To make matters worse, they failed to respond to numerous emails but finally replied to tell me to reset the camera and tell them if there were error codes. After my reply that there were no codes, Camcorderrepair.com never replied again. These are not trustworthy people!!!

Provided by YP.comWe have only gone here for repairs of our DSLR. They were honest and totally down to earth. They could have screwed us but they didn't. That shows a lot about a company. I would recommend this place HANDS DOWN.

Provided by YP.comThis staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. I brought in a hand-me-down Minolta X-570 that just edges me out in time spent on in this world. I really preferred to get this back to working condition, rather than go purchasing something new (not only to be cost effective, but to own a fully operational 25 year-old camera.) The lens had a nasty scratch inside and the film advance lever was also broken. They were able to fix both issues for a very reasonable price in about a week's time. I would definitely go back for future issues with my camera.

Provided by YP.comI brought in my Nikon lens to have the attachment piece replaced, and he told me it'd take till next week. About an hour later, he called me back and said it was ready - turns out they got a shipment of the parts in just after I'd left. Made a positive experience for me, obviously.

Provided by YP.comI had my Canon XH-A1 repaired here recently. Albert was the person in charge. They replaced my firewire port within 4 days and they have fair prices. I would recommend this service station!
