worst whole foods market I ever been, all the employees in the produce department are chatting with each other, I asked one of the employees a question not only he did not want to help , he answer very rude, will never go back to this market

As an America's Healthiest Grocery Store this market has an extended selection of organic grains, fruits, veggies, vitamins, breads, meat and food ready to eat I recommend it.

Terrible customer service. Went there and bought heirloom organic chicken and three days later it had gone bad. Took it back and they did not have anymore so I opted to get a refund. Went to the front desk and told the lady I was annoyed. She didn't even apologize and just went on to give me a gift card for the amount. This made me even more angry. This is not the type of customer service I expect from a store like whole foods. The lady at the front desk just didn't care. I asked for the manager and told him what happened and he was not that interested either. I told him I wanted to be compensated for my time and the annoyance. I spend $200 three days ago and another $100 today. All I got for compensation was he rounded the refund from $14 to $20. Big wow .. a whole $6. I am not coming back to this branch. The larger Pasadena is 10x better.

I always stopped by this market on my way home. It's really clean and neat. They've got a nice indoor and outdoor seating area too.

This is the only WholeFoods in the neighborhood, and has been updated recently. It's a bit small, and the selection is quiet limited.

This is a really nice Whole Foods with a terrific salad bar, pizza bar and sandwhich counter. The sushi counter makes real fresh sushi and the charcuterie section has a great assortment of meats and cheeses. My only complaint is that the parking can be AWFUL at times.

This Whole foods outlet doesn't have all the produce that other whole foods stores have and the prices of this store are much higher than other whole foods stores

My first visit to this Whole F...

My first visit to this Whole Foods was pleasant. I always hear about horrible parking lots anywhere there's a WF, but I found parking instantly. They had a great selection of different brands of everything I was looking for - almond milk, fresh fruits and vegetables, nuts, cooking oils, spices and herbs. I even got distracted by their assortment of non-food items like the clothing, books, and lotions. I had a really nice checkout person who gave me some times on cooking some of the new types of vegetables I was buying (I'm beginning a Paleo diet). I also noticed they had a huge baked goods and hot bar, which is great since I work close by.

Of course, when you're buying healthier, you're going to be spending a lot more money. Talk about whole paycheck!

This is one of the better Whol...

This is one of the better Whole Foods. They have good lunches (which is what I usually go for). Service is also super friendly and checkout is better organized than at some other Whole Foods.

I go to this whole foods for lunch almost every day. I wish it was less expensive but otherwise it's great.

Grass-fed beef!

Expensive but the only place I know of to get grass-fed beef, range-fed chicken, yogurt from grass-fed cows. Great selection of organic dark chocolates. I go with a list and stick to the list, otherwise it's too easy to spend. It's a tad busy for my comfort, but the employees are friendly and helpful.

Love Whole Foods, but WF Glendale.. not as much

I'm there every week but really miss the Beverly Hills location. And what happened to Macy's organic boneless free range thighs? Seriously, how can you take that away and replace it with the non organic version. I'm also having a hard time finding the favorite organic veggies. Local is good but local + organic is even better.

I like "Whole Paycheck"...

But not for the prices. There is no better lunch possible. The choice at this store is extraordinary and the food is usually a high quality. Try some deserts, they will make you happy! But - I never shop Whole Foods for anything else but lunch. Simply because it is too expensive. Same quality products cost half the price at TJ's or the local farmers market. Why is that?

No longer accepts "too many" checks

The Glendale Whole Foods (and maybe others?) no longer accepts more than one check per customer per week?

I shopped there on Monday and wrote a check. I shopped on Tuesday and wrote another check. Their system said that I'd written "too many checks" and rejected the check.

The manager acknowledged to me that it did not mean I had insufficient funds in the checking account - but rather that Whole Foods would prefer me to use a debit card.

Sorry, I don't use debit cards.

The only thing I'd tried to buy was hot food for dinner, so Whole Foods basically lost over $20 worth of hot food... as hopefully they did not take it out of the containers and put it back...

I do use credit cards, but prefer not to buy food with a credit card. I will use a credit card in the future perhaps and just let Whole Foods pay the credit card fee since they seem to think that is cheaper than processing checks.
