Provided by SuperpagesBest Calamari on Earth. Prepared with a very light batter over large tender pancake-size servings, sprinkled with almonds. Tastes like abalone.

Provided by SuperpagesMy first visit after six years of working in Glendora was a mixed experience. The Spur Top Sirloin was a huge flavorful steak, cooked exactly as ordered. The service was excellent . . . attentive and friendly, but unobtrusive.

Provided by SuperpagesThe service was very good and the food was good. We were there with another couple and wanted to be able to carry on a conversation. We were there very early, and it was quiet, which allows us to talk.

Provided by SuperpagesWe have been coming to this restaurant for years. We live about 20 miles away, but it is always worth the drive. The food, the serving staff, the ambience -- all are great. We would highly recommend it to anyone who wants the best for a fair price.

Provided by YP.comI dropped in to have a steak. I think it was Monday or Tuesday this last week (11-19/20-2012), so it wasn't a busy night and the service was quite good. I ordered a rib eye steak (sometimes called a spencer steak, this beautiful cut of beef is sliced from the prime rib and cooked like a steak rather than roasted). I had a choice of side dishes of which I decided on the au gratin potatoes. For a beverage I thought a cocktail would be nice, Long Island Iced Tea is one of my favorates. The steak was okay but the au gratin potatoes stole the show! I thought they were very tasty. My drink was awful... plenty of alcohol but where was the love? All in all, although I enjoyed my experience, I probably won't go back as it was pricy and not any better then going to the local Sizzler (minus the mixed drink).

Provided by SuperpagesI have to say, I am a bit sceptical when it comes to dining with the family. (I'm more of a home-cooked meal person). Yet I couldn't find one thing wrong with this restaurant. The food was spectacular, the service is utmost respectable and the setting was fun for everyone. I put Golden Spur as one of my top favorite restaurants, though I still do not like to eat out, I definitely go to this place.
