Provided by YP.comA very welcoming congregation of community-oriented people dedicated to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to all. Very involved in social justice and mission work. I felt at home the first time I attended this Church and was invited to join activities and participate in worship from the beginning. Both traditional and contemporary worship are offered to attendees. Very much in the tradition of Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors of the modern Methodist Church. The staff, including the Pastor, are caring people who are very involved in the life and the Church and the community. The congregation is very friendly to newcomers and goes out of their way to include anyone who walks in the door in the life of the Church and they are accepting to people of all ages and all walks of life.

Provided by YP.comOpen Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors! GUMC is a congregation of people seeking to make a difference in the world, through and with the love of God. I've found these folks in worship, discussion groups, and sharing a meal. I've also found them volunteering in the community, teaching in our schools and colleges, and seeking to provide answers and comfort for those in need. And all are welcome to participate!

Provided by YP.comI too grew up in this church. The organization has gone through many changes in the past few years and it is now has a diverse leadership and lots of activities for families and youth. These changes have brought back many people, myself included. We hope to see you in church!

Provided by YP.comI wish the 1st reviewer would have been more specific. I am always interested in knowing how people feel about business in the Glendora area. I am a resident and impressed by few of the business in this city. My family does all our shoping needs in every surrounding city but here becasue if we want to be treated with friendly and respectful attitudes thats where we find them. Until things change San Dimas, LaVerne, Covina, W.Covina.,.etc..are a hop, skip and jump away for my tax revenue.

Provided by YP.comUnless it has changed, the church does not have that great of ministry. If you are in the military, or planning on going into it, get ready for a bashing!
