Glens Falls Art® is a tintype studio from Glens Falls, New York creating handcrafted portraits and scenic in Glens Falls and upstate NY using original 19th century processes. Craig Murphy demonstrates this unique process, while providing the historical context, which made "likenesses" so popular at the advent of photography. Kate Boyle paints on traditional paper and fabric to create cyanotypes, a process discovered in the mid 1800's and originally used to make blueprints.
