Dr. Varney will be joining OrthoNY in our Glens Falls Office starting in early July 2014. A board-certified orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Tom Varney grew up in Queensbury, NY. He received his undergraduate training at Dartmouth College in biophysical chemistry before completing medical school at the Tufts University School of Medicine. After completing orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Massachusetts, he served in the US Navy for 4 years as a surgeon. Dr. Varney returns to the area to assist in providing orthopaedic services to his home community. Dr. Varney's practice covers general orthopaedics with a particular interest in total joint replacement of the hip and knee. Dr. Varney returns to the community with his wife and three children.
