I have been a dedicated Walgreens photo customer for years now. I have trusted Walgreens with some of my most important photos from child photos to weddings and family gatherings. Over the past six months, I have noticed the quality of the pictures have been going downhill. I have had to return pictures regarding the coloring of the photos, and lately when I pick up pictures they are bent and out of order.



Finally, we placed an order for three calendars of our son, which we give out as gifts to family members. This would be the third year doing so. When I went to pick up the pictures, the paper was a lot thinner than it used to be, which is fine. However, the color was smeared on many pages, and to be perfectly honest I would not feel right giving hose calendars as a gift. I would be embarrassed to give them to anyone. My wife called and returned the calendars, and they said they would do it again. However, when my wife went to pick them up, again the quality was horrible. She asked for a manager, and neither the manager nor the person working the photo lab seemed to care. So my wife just got a refund.



Pictures are an important thing in a family’s life. I trusted Walgreens with doing all of my photo needs, but I will never again use the photo department. Every drugstore or grocery store does film processing, so I would have expected Walgreens to be more competitive. Now a month before Christmas, I have to struggle to find the time to do the calendars all over again. I wish I could have depended on Walgreens more.
