Attea Middle School is a learning institute that serves students in grades six through eight. It offers classes in reading, math, science, social studies, language arts, music, French, Spanish and physical education. The school provides instructive sessions related to band, drama, orchestra and technology education. It coordinates the English Language Learner program. The school operates a learning resource center that stocks a variety of educational and learning materials, such as encyclopedias, biographies, magazines and newspapers. It maintains a parent-teacher association that holds regular meetings and conferences, as well as organizes several community-based events. The school supports the Global Language Club and a student council. Attea Middle School is a part of Glenview Public School District 34, which serves more than 4,300 students through over five elementary, middle and high schools.
