Provided by YP.comI wanted to take the time to share my recent experience of Ben's TV. My 5 year old Sony 46" LCD's display panel failed. Ben and his wife confirmed the research I had already done which that a repair would exceed the cost of a new, larger and much better set. Ben gave me a few great examples of larger new replacement sets that he had in stock that would cost less than repairing my old one. Bottom line, I got a fantastic deal on a 55" Panasonic plasma, that I love, and it was delivered the next day, earlier than they said it would arrive, set it up for free and even gave me a few dollars for my bad set (and hauled it away for free). Ben and his wife were very nice people, treated me like family and exceeded my expectations. I'm giving everyone I can a glowing review of my experience with them. I will buy from them again and again. I wish there were more small shops like this around. Thank you Ben's TV!!!

Provided by YP.comBen's TV really took great care of me. Honestly, pretty baffled by these other reviews!
My 47" LCD TV went dead out of nowhere and I found this shop online, thought I'd give it a try since it was so close to home. I brought it in myself and had a $30 diagnostic fee which was taken off my final bill. 2 days later they called and informed me that it needed a new power supply and that they needed to order the part . They were all very friendly and my TV was finished in about a week. I ended up buying a nice 32" used Vizio while I was there too!
All in all, great experience, I'd definitely refer them!

Provided by YP.comI had to deal with a dead LCD monitor recently at work and it reminded me of my dealings with Ben's TV last year. I sent them two LCDs for repair (one at a time in two separate instances). The first one was repaired fairly quickly--took about a week. It worked for a few days and died again, so we sent it back in again. Time passed by and on a weekly basis I would call in for updates. Each week was an excuse about the part was on order or it would be done the next week. Unfortunately, I decided to send in another monitor for repair around this time too. After about 2 months, Ben finally said he wasn't going to be able to fix the first monitor. The 2nd monitor he said he would be able to fix. After another month of no results, I negotiated a loaner monitor be given to me until the 2nd LCD was fixed.
After about 3 months we got the 2nd LCD back and returned the loaner. After 2 days, it went bad again. We gave him the LCD back to try to fix it again and to make a long story short(er), after 6 months of following up, I gave up and stopped calling.
Maybe TVs are easier to repair than monitors, but I will never take an LCD to Ben's TV for repair again.

Ben's has a technician named John who is an expert Toshiba repairman. He performed board level repair in our home and then tuned the picture. When he was finished, the picture was as good or better than when we bought it.
