Beware consumers of medical equipment. This business is only interested in their bottom line and NOT in being of help to anyone with specialized needs.I needed a wheelchair for a concert with extra weight-bearing capacity. I had my friend search out places and make the arrangements. She found CNC, close to where I live, good sounding ad...so she called (3 weeks ahead) and was assured it was not necessary to reserve a wheelchair, "we've got plenty!" was a mantra.Well, I asked her to call back and make sure they knew we needed a chair with EXTRA-WEIGHT BEARING CAPACITY and wanted to reserve one. "Not necessary...we've got plenty!" they chirped at her again.Well, she went to pick it up for me on the day of the concert. Different story this time! "Oh, we're sorry but we have none available, they've all been rented. You should have called ahead and reserved!"My friend was crushed and at a loss for what to do. The very pregnant lady who was working the counter that day stuck out

Was in and out in moments with the type of wheelchair I needed for a friend in need. The owner was terrific and very accomodating in a situation where we needed support for an out of the country staff member.

I don't get it...you supply medical equipment, but not on the weekend. I'm visiting from out of state and it seems that Illinois makes it really hard for anyone disabled to get a wheelchair in this state! Why the hell would you not be available on the weekends?

This medical supply store goes beyond the call of duty. They are courteous, helpful and go the extra mile. When I ordered a hospital bed they came and opened the package, set it up, brought it upstairs and showed me all the bells and whistles When my husband's hospital bed didn't work, someone came right out and fixed it. They filled out the Medicare Forms for us when we ordered a power wheelchair - they have worked with us with a shower chair, allowing my 6 foot husband the ability to get in and out. Our portable wheelchair we received from them had a nut or screw fall out with the footrest and they were there within the day to fix the wheelchair. I feel so comfortable they are so near and are ready to help.
